Description:

Galala Marble is a light, creamy beige sedimentary rock with a medium grain and golden hues. It can be finished in various ways, including honed, aged, polished, sawn cut, sanded, rockfaced, sandblasted, bushhammered, tumbled, and weathered edge.

Galala Marble is commonly used in both interior and exterior applications, such as walls, floors, countertops, mosaics, fountains, pool capping, stairs, window sills, and more.

Minimum hardness values are 10-34.8 Ha (depending on the grade: B, C, or D).
Flexural Strength (ASTM C880):
Minimum flexural strength is 1000-1300 psi (or 7 MPa-9 MPa).
Modulus of Rupture (ASTM C99):
Minimum modulus of rupture is 1000-1800 psi (or 7 MPa-12 MPa).
Compressive Strength (ASTM C170):
Minimum compressive strength is 7500-18300 psi (or 52 MPa-126 MPa).
Absorption by Weight (ASTM C97):
Maximum absorption by weight is 0.20-0.12%.
